Finished watching - The Pitt

I've recently finished season 2 of HBO's TV show The Pitt. What stays with me is the sheer realism: injuries, resuscitations, a birth. All of these depicted with a precision that feels earned rather than staged. It left me humbled and quietly proud that people dedicate their training, their knowledge, and sacrifice their mental health to this.
Each episode corresponds to one hour in the hospital. There's a moment somewhere around hour 12 where I caught myself thinking: I'd be flat on the sofa by now. They don't get to stop for a second. It may be dramatized, but it can't be far from reality.
Peak mankind, in an emergency room.
